Firmware upgrade: Aspire NX75 firmware V05

Aspire’s NX75 new firmware V05 ensure users can experience the new menu mode and the Key combination mode.
Pressing the fire button while installing the battery will bring up the firmware version along with the Aspire logo.You may then select your language preference,English or Chinese.Then you can select the operation,Key or Menu.

Firmware upgrade: Steps on NX75 firmware update (MAC)

  1. Uncompress the zip file and install “aspire-update.dmg” file firstly.
  2. Double click the “Aspire-Update” to open it, and it shows as follows.

  1. Connecting your PC and NX75 mod with the supplied USB cable, then you will see the information of current device (Device name, Firmware version and Hardware version).

4.  Click “OpenFile”, choosing the firmware (NX75_V03.bin) to be upgraded

5.  Click “Update”

6.  Please click “ok” after firmware update is completed.

7. Firmware Version of the device will present after updating. Click

close icon

disconnect the USB cable to complete the whole process of firmware update.

    1. Uncompress the zip file firstly.
    2. Double click the “Aspire-Update” to open it, and it shows as follows.

The NX75 mod shows a locked lock on the screen, and the wattage or voltage cannot be adjusted, why?

Please check if you have locked the control buttons. There is a lock symbol at corner of screen. Press fire button and “-” button at the same time for about 2 seconds to unlock it.
